What is a Tune-Up?
A typical vehicle's tune-up consists of replacing necessary car parts like spark plugs, cabin air filters, and fuel filters as needed. In addition, technicians will also inspect your vehicle’s engine and analyze its performance. If repairs are needed further with your approval, our techs will make adjustments to your vehicle to keep it in its best and safest shape. How often you need a tune-up mostly depends on the age of your vehicle. Older vehicles with non-electric ignition systems should get a tune-up once every 10,000 to 20,000 miles. Newer vehicles should try to get one once every 30,000 to 100,000 miles. We recommend consulting your vehicle owner’s manual for the manufacturer’s recommendation or asking one of our expert technicians.
